About

aboutRagdaIn less than eight years my husband and I had four precious boys, and we very rapidly developed a keen sense of awareness of Mother Nature and our impact on it. While fine-tuning maternal instincts on the fly, we simultaneously generated a deep connection to our Mother Earth and it’s Creator. Suddenly, the land upon which we walk, the water we drink, the foods we eat, the thoughts we create, and even the clothes we wear became drastically more important to us. My innocent little creations from God gave me a whole new perspective on all aspects of life.

The more I read, the more I learned about the toxic chemicals to which we unknowingly expose our children. Ahhh…organic became my way. I support organic farmers from tomatoes to t-shirts. I don’t buy bottled water anymore, make most of my cleaning supplies, refuse to leave any store with a plastic
bag, and am all about recycling everything, everywhere.

All of this, I try to teach my boys. They’re slowly, but surely getting it. BUT, they’re still boys. Dirty, muddy, stain-perfecting little boys. Hence, my t-shirts. Super comfy, durable, colored (never white), sustainable, organic bamboo tees with a positive, simple message for my sons and for all the other children in the world (hopefully!).

Our children are the future, the next generation, the ones who can turn our world around. We must start with the individual, and as Ghandi once said, “be the change we wish to see in the world today.”

And, yes, I believe it can all start with a simple, little t-shirt.

Peace and Love,

Ragda McAfee
